Description
Part of a series of textual quilts made during 2020 shelter-in-place orders, this small art piece reads “wtf” in green on a tan and cream background. This piece is handquilted with dusty purple embroidery thread and backed with a print of wooden boards.
This piece measures 9.5″ tall by 14″ wide. Even my smallest art pieces have thousands of hand stitches. I piece by machine then hand quilt and finish, which results in a rich texture. This is a display piece, intended as wall art.
Art quilts are made for form more than function and are more delicate than my other pieces. If you want a quilt for regular use, please consider my functional quilts, which are sturdier and better sized for non-art applications.
